Some people are unlucky enough to suffer from excessive sweating, most commonly in the underarm area or sometimes on the face. It is possible to inject the sweaty areas with multiple small injections of Botulinum Toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Azzalure) which will dramatically reduce or stop the sweating for several months or longer.
Small doses of Botulinum Toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Azzalure) are injected into the skin blocking the actions of the nerve endings that supply the sweat glands thus preventing the production of sweat. Botulinum Toxin (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Azzalure) can be used to stop sweating on the forehead, upper lip, underarms, palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. Results usually last 4-9 months.
